Some frame and floor timber replacement had already been completed on this vintage Elco when I joined this project. The planking remained. Damaged planks had been removed in the underwater areas near both sides of the bow as well as in both sides of the after areas below the waterline. New planking on the starboard side looking aft. New planks were 5/4 VG Doug fir. New planking on starboard side looking forward. New planking installed at port side bow. Showing new planks on both sides of the bow. Moving into the paint shop for bottom paint. Aft end of keel replaced. New piece matching original lumber choice of white oak. Bottom painted. Other small repairs in progress.
